| Posting Context Statement | The Assistant Director of Marketing, VandalStore Retail and E-commerce leads day-to-day marketing operations for the VandalStore, including in-store and digital commerce marketing, promotions planning, campaign execution and continuous improvement across vandalstore.com. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, Marketing and Communications for Auxiliary Services, this position works in close partnership with the VandalStore Chief Retail and Merchandising Administrator and store leadership to align marketing strategy with business priorities, product planning and the customer experience. |
| Position Overview | This role is designed to assume primary ownership of the VandalStore’s marketing calendar and execution, reducing the routine marketing workload carried by store leadership and ensuring consistent, timely and high-quality delivery across channels. The assistant director collaborates on major seasonal initiatives and high-visibility promotions while independently directing most day-to-day retail and e-commerce marketing activity, supported by interns and junior marketing staff.
