Position Responsibilities
| Position Summary | The University of Idaho Extension, Southern District seeks a 12-month Personal Finance Extension Educator at the tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenure-track/tenured Associate Professor rank. The Educator will plan, deliver, and evaluate programs that strengthen individual, family, and community economic well-being in Ada County. Approximately 90% of the role focuses on personal financial management, including youth financial literacy, budgeting, financial decision-making, and long-term financial security. The remaining 10% supports 4-H Youth Development programs that emphasize life skills, leadership, and career readiness. The Educator will collaborate with faculty, build community partnerships, pursue funding opportunities, and contribute to applied scholarship and statewide Extension initiatives. Rank and tenure is negotiable based on how the candidate meets the requirements of college bylaws as well as qualifications and experience. |
