| Position Overview | This position provides leadership in the management and direction of the animal units of the Palouse Research, Extension and Education Center (PREEC). The Animal Units Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs, and is accountable for all aspects of internal and external service, personnel, facilities, resources, and financial operations associated with the animal units. The position directly supervises the Sheep Center Manager, Beef Unit Manager, Dairy Manager, and Beef Feedlot Manager and supports the teaching, research, and extension missions of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) and the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station (IAES). The Animal Units Operations Manager provides leadership by establishing operational goals, assessing performance through written evaluations, addressing grievances, and acting on disciplinary matters as necessary. |
