Position Overview | The Assistant Director, Building Operations has leadership and supervisory responsibility for the operations of all assigned multi-use facilities. The Idaho Student Union Building, Pitman Center, PF1CU Kibbie Dome, and ICCU Arena serve as the backdrop for concerts, athletics events and more, providing student engagement and entertainment to the University of Idaho community. This role oversees the administration and operations of these multi-use facilities, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained and optimally utilized. Key duties include overseeing space planning, maintenance, security and emergency procedures, while collaborating with university departments and local agencies. The position also involves hiring, training and supervising staff, managing budgets and resources, and improving operational efficiency. The Assistant Director is a highly visible member of the Campus Services team, working collaboratively with other Auxiliary Services units as needed. |
