Posting Context Statement | The Office of Research and Economic Development is seeking a Lead Grant Administrator to help launch a new Shared Services Research Administration team. Reporting directly to the Research Division Business Officer, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape scalable systems that support faculty and advance the university’s research mission. |
Position Overview | This position will manage and oversee sponsored project activity within a college, program or unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with requirements for externally funded projects. They will work with the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) to assess and improve processes and procedures and will serve as a liaison with partner institutions, state, regional, federal, and other internal and external departments and organizations. This position will also serve as an expert to faculty and staff, acting as a resource for all aspects of sponsored projects. Duties may include:
