Position Overview | Reporting to the Director of Recreation and Fitness Services, the Assistant Director of Operations and Member Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of facility operations, member services, and guest-related functions in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) for the department of Recreation and Wellbeing. The Assistant Director oversees the administrative functions and management of policies, programs and services that impact and enhance student life, department goals and learning outcomes. They provide leadership by recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating student Facility Attendants and Student Managers. The Assistant Director assists with equipment purchases, development of policies and procedures related to risk management, onsite supervision of facility functions and events and membership recruitment. This position will manage scheduling of the Student Recreation Center and oversight of high-quality customer service. The Assistant Director will supervise daily operations through logistical preparation and “on-call” commitments. The position will collaborate and create partnerships on and off campus to enhance student recreational needs and support student development. |
