Job Summary

This position will perform research and administrative tasks by scouring publications since 2013 to locate material excavated from Anatolia that dates to the Achaemenid Persian period, in support of a lecture Professor Beth Dusinberre is preparing for in Fall 2026.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Provide research assistance that supports Prof. Dusinberre's desire to locate material excavated from Anatolia that dates to the Achaemenid Persian period. The assistance will be administrative in nature as directed by the professor leading the project.

What You Should Know

This is a part-time (10%) temporary position designated to support a specific project within the Classics department.

What We Can Offer

The pay for this temporary position is $20.00 - $31.00 per hour.

Benefits

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

  • MA degree in Classics.
  • Must have proven experience and a strong background in research and the field of Classics.

What You Will Need

  • Knowledge of research methods, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate on a research project.

What We Would Like You to Have

  • Prior experience with the Classics department at CU Boulder.
  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant within the Classics department at CU Boulder.
