Job Summary
The Hannigan Air Quality and Technology Research (HAQ) Lab is seeking a Prescribed Fire Emissions Engineer. This engineer will learn to calibrate and use emissions Pods specifically for emissions assessment for prescribed fires. This is a temporary research position.

The engineer will be working within the broader Hannigan Air Quality and Technology Research (HAQ) Lab. The lab is a dynamic team environment where undergraduate and graduate students from multiple engineering disciplines collaborate to assess and solve air quality problems.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Learning to use HAQ Lab tools and participate in prescribed fire field work.

The hire rate for this 75% time position will be $22.50 per hour.

The applicant should know the basic chemistry of biomass combustion and how to develop and use data analysis tools.
What We Would Like You to Have
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of emission measurement systems.
