Job Summary

The Department of Mechanical Engineering welcomes applications for Temporary Research Scientist to support ongoing biomaterials and tissue engineering research by designing and fabricating 3D stereolithography-printed hydrogel constructs using customized soft polymer systems. The role involves executing cell culture studies, performing immunohistochemistry and quantitative biological analyses, and contributing to data interpretation and documentation in a collaborative research environment. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

This research position involves performing 3D stereolithography (SLA) printing using customized soft polymer hydrogel materials based on defined extracellular matrix (ECM) blueprints. Responsibilities include preparing and printing hydrogel constructs, conducting cell culture evaluations of the printed materials under sterile conditions, and performing immunohistochemistry analyses along with other quantitative biological assessments to evaluate material–cell interactions and functional outcomes.

What We Can Offer

The hire rate for this temporary, part-time position will be $40.00-$45.00 per hour.
