Functions as an Institution Hearing Program (IHP) Assistant under the Complex Case Management Coordinator (CMC) and is responsible for coordinating the Institution Hearing Program (IHP) for non-U.S. citizen inmates with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). Must be well versed in correctional policies and serves as a liaison between the inmate population, the Bureau, ICE, EOIR, and inter-departmental personnel. Responsibilities also include providing assistance to the Complex Case Management Coordinator in the performance of administrative responsibilities for the Correctional Programs/Correctional Systems Management Departments. Coordinates the Institution Hearing Program (IHP) for the three separate facilities within FCC Allenwood. This comprises approximately 500 admissions and 500 releases each year. Must maintain certification for Central Inmate Monitoring (CIM). Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.Key Requirements
