ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Facilities Project Managers provide comprehensive management services in support of the design, acquisition, construction, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of Defense and Intelligence facilities for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Project Managers in this role contribute to major facilities improvements and renovations, support new facility construction, participate in all facets of lifecycle management, and advise leadership on facilities management and environmental impact mitigation. 1) Project Management and Technical Oversight - Serve as the technical point of contact for projects designed by Architect-Engineering (A-E) firms under contract with NGA or NGA's Base Operations Services Contractor (BOSC). Function as project manager and Technical Monitor for repair, renovation, and general construction projects. Conduct inspections of architectural, site/civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at the NGA Washington site in Springfield, VA. 2) Technical Resource and Quality Assurance - Provide technical expertise to operations and maintenance personnel. Perform engineering-related quality assurance oversight of NGA's BOSC. Monitor and evaluate emerging trends and technologies in facilities engineering. Advise management on facilities-related improvements and innovations that could benefit NGA operations 3) Lifecycle Facilities Management - Contribute to facilities design and construction management activities. Oversee and support facilities operations and maintenance functions. Support NGA's Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) program through technical expertise and project execution 4) Independent Execution - Independently plan, prioritize, and accomplish work assignments. Exercise sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making. Collaborate effectively with personnel within and outside the organization. Perform typical engineering functions including: research and analysis, technical problem resolution, presentation and briefing delivery to diverse audiences, technical and non-technical writing, project planning and scheduling, & records management.Key Requirements
