Summary

This National Guard position is for a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1510P01 and is part of the FL HQ 101 AOG, National Guard.

Major Duties

As an Intelligence Operations Specialist, GS-0132-09/11, you will assure the Intelligence Squadron maintains a capability to provide appropriate Gaining Command entities with timely fused intelligence support and fully trained intelligence personnel, during peace time operations. Administers daily targeting, collections, and analysis of the assigned portion of the Gaining Command Area of Responsibility (AOR). Coordinates with the Gaining Command on intelligence elements (collections, analysis and/or targeting) needed to carry out coordination and liaison with counterparts and colleagues in such other major command intelligence organizations as Air Combat Command (ACC), Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air National Guard Bureau Headquarters (NGB), United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and such other governmental agencies as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Security Agency (NSA), U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM), Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AFISR Agency), and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Incumbent represents the organization at interagency conferences and meetings that deal with specialty functions and intelligence-specific roles in the AOC. Relays requirements and works toward harmonious working relationships with all intelligence contacts. During contingency operations, provides assistance in the form of offensive and defensive information operations support, collections, targeting, and analysis, either from home station and/or via travel to the Gaining Command.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS09- Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related GS11- Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related
