Trinity County Resource Conservation District is accepting applications for the position of Forestry Technician III-IV. The Forestry Technician III-IV will be a member of a Forest Health crew under the supervision of the Program Manager and may perform a variety of natural resources-related tasks. Requires ability to work collaboratively and independently, maintain high work quality and safety, and perform hard physical labor in rugged terrain and inclement/smoky conditions. Duties include operation of forestry equipment, unit layout, timber cruising/stand exams, documentation, photo monitoring, coordination with partners, landowner communication, and prescribed fire participation.
