The Trinity County Resource Conservation District (TCRCD) is accepting applications for the position of Conservation Technician II within the Forest Health Program. This is a seasonal full–time position. District employees are subject to normal management reviews and serve at the discretion of the Board of Directors. The Conservation Technician II works under the direct supervision of a Conservation Technician III or IV and helps support fuel reduction and forest health projects throughout Trinity County. This position involves significant fieldwork focused on improving forest resilience, reducing hazardous fuels, and supporting prescribed fire and other forest health activities. Work is performed in rugged, remote terrain, as well as on private properties, and requires strong teamwork, consistent attendance, and a high level of safety awareness.
