- Greets and assists all who come into the Wyoming Retirement Center to ensure their questions are answered by the appropriate staff member.
- Answers a multi-line phone system.
- Performs office duties including composing and typing correspondence; revising and updating forms; filing; receiving and distributing faxes; opening and sorting mail; and photocopying.
- Schedules, maintains, and updates facility calendar to reflect meetings, staff absences, and use of the training and conference rooms.
- Organizes, maintains, and orders supplies from the commissary for the supply room in the office.
- Maintains digital and/or hard copy business office records utilizing Google Workspace.
- Assists the Admissions Team by retrieving and returning initial referral calls, maintaining the referral log, and conducting facility tours.
Qualifications

PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to applicants who have worked 6 months or more in a long-term care setting.
KNOWLEDGE:- Knowledge of office procedures, filing, alphabetizing, English language, and arithmetic.
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Office suites.
- Knowledge of assembling, sorting, and distributing documents.
- Knowledge of reviewing and editing documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Knowledge of methods used to tactfully deal with the public.
- Knowledge of telephone etiquette and coordinating telephone and visitor traffic.
- Knowledge of the preparation of records, reports, and correspondence.
- Knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications)
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications)

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
NOTES:
- FLSA: Non-Exempt
- This is a full-time position.
- For the health and protection of the persons we care for, annual influenza vaccination is required, and annual testing for tuberculosis.
- A background information check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Wyoming Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
- Pre-employment drug testing will be conducted on safety-sensitive positions (direct patient care positions are considered safety-sensitive). Drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.
