GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is seeking a Grants and Contracts Administration Specialist to support the Workforce Development Training Fund Program through administrative coordination and grant management activities. This position provides operational support for training grants and assists with the maintenance and expansion of Workforce Development Training Fund initiatives.
Responsibilities include assisting the Program Lead with grant management duties such as monitoring grant processes and tracking systems, reviewing applications, evaluating progress and final reports, preparing general data reports, and corresponding with participating businesses as needed. The position also manages program emails, phone calls, scheduling, meeting minutes, and the distribution of emails, voicemails, and help tickets.
This role serves as the first point of contact for individuals inquiring about the program and provides support for meetings related to the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, including scheduling meetings, sending invitations, and tracking committee changes and updates. Additional duties include assisting with the preparation of program presentations, updating outreach materials, and supporting contract management activities for all grants by updating contracts and Letters of Agreement, and ensuring contracts progress appropriately.
The position also assists with grant reporting, data collection, and tracking efforts, and serves as a point of contact for temporary staff by providing training and support under the direction of the Program Lead.

- Provide support for meetings such as the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, including scheduling meetings, sending invites, and keeping track of committee changes and updates
- Assist with the preparation of program presentations and updating outreach materials
- Assist with Contract Management for all grants, including updating contracts and Letters of Agreement, and ensuring that contracts are progressing
- Prepare and assist with grant reports and data tracking/collection
- Serve as a point of contact for temporary staff and provide training as needed under the direction of the Program Lead
Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)Experience:0-1 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business)
