About the Division:

The Property Management Division (PMD) is responsible for providing comprehensive facilities management through the capital and operating budget process. The Property Management Division falls within the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau and consists of three sections, the Facilities Section, the Fleet Section, and the Supply Section.

Duties

WSP is currently seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Property Management Division in Tumwater, WA.

This position is responsible for:

This is a traveling position and you maybe required to travel the state up to 80% of the year.

  • Provides expert level insight into the installation and maintenance of all buildings and bullpen security related systems to facilitate repairs, and aid in the process and understanding of new
    installations for all levels of WSP personnel.
  • Provide maintenance, repairs, and installation of security cameras, bullpen security systems, and locksmithing including but not limited to installation of door handles, electrified door handle
    hardware, deadbolts, night latches, electric strikes, door closers, door hinges, re-building door handles and padlocks, installation and removal of SFIC, drilling out locks and SFIC, picking locks,
    pinning out SFIC, cutting keys, stamping keys and cores, installation of cameras, video decoders, monitors, monitor wall mounts, photo eye perimeter alarms, motion sensors, card readers, and
    NVR's.
  • Perform facility maintenance as needed consisting of electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, painting, locksmithing, concrete, and additional construction trades.
  • This position provides input to the planning staff regarding the scope of future projects. Consults with construction staff for directions on installation details. May direct construction crews and
    venders on site.
  • Helps support other facilities and departments as requested by supervisor.
  • Reads blueprints and plans, inspects projects to ensure compliance with WSP regulations, local, and state codes. Determines scope of work, schedule of values, materials needed and provides
    cost estimates.

  • Our new teammate will be able to:

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 4+ years performing any of the following construction/building related trades: HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, concrete/masonry, painting, electrical, cabinetry, building security (locksmithing, CCTV, card access,
    and intrusion alarms) to provide maintenance on buildings and grounds throughout the state.
OR

  • Possess an EL06 license with 2+ years of security (locksmith, CCTV, card access, and intrusion alarms, or other building related trades.

  • Must possess a valid WA state driver license
  • Must be able to climb a ladder.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work with small hand tools and power tools above your head for extended periods of time.
