What you will do!
- The position is responsible for OIS position management tracking and reporting. It merges data from a variety of sources to produce reports and dashboards.
- The IT Operations Analyst position will provide support for OIS-wide activities and initiatives.
- The position performs operational research and evaluation of OIS services, systems and processes including financial, resourcing, facilities, contracting, and workforce development.
- The position serves as a point of contact for legislative coordination activities in OIS. The position analyzes incoming legislative bills for IT impact, researches and prepares background information on legislative proposals, and writes analysis of the impact of legislative proposals to OIS and IT systems.

What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification
Working Conditions
This position involves frequent contact with executives, management, and staff both internal and external to the organization. It requires working with a variety of people and situations, which requires the incumbent to exercise diplomacy. This position requires a work environment where conversations can be kept private and not overheard by unintended listeners. Often travel to meetings is required with some travel to trainings. There can be frequent interruptions, demanding timeframes, and non-traditional working hours. Some evening and weekend work may be required during legislative session. The location of this position is in an office, cubicle and/or an agreed upon remote work environment with significant use of a computer and video conferencing. You must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. If not, you must be able to provide an alternate method of transportation.

- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with stressful situations.
- Able to conceptualize and complete projects independently and communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
- Experience documenting processes for operational consistency.
- Ability to anticipate long-term impacts and make proactive process improvements to improve outcomes.
- Ability to effectively facilitate group meetings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide comprehensive, concise, and compelling communication of policy and technical information tailored to the needs of diverse audiences; skill in writing and presenting comprehensive and concise reports that include qualitative and quantitative analyses, recommendations, and conclusions to diverse audiences.
- Experience researching, analyzing, and interpreting data and other information; experience with databases, including entering data, running reports, and maintaining data integrity.
- Experience conducting in-depth evaluations of rules, policies, and operations, conducting research, and synthesizing results into a written impact analysis distributed to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) Visio, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Workday; ability to learn and manage new software and tools.
