We are hiring for one full-time, permanent position located at our headquarters in Salem, Oregon.

What you will do:
In this position, you will serve as a key business advisor and project manager for the department’s largest scale and most mission-critical projects, including responsibility for ensuring the utilization of appropriate project controls, financial prioritization practices, quality assurance and organizational change management principles. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s overall project management philosophy, policies, and activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
In order to qualify for this position, all applicants must meet one of the following options:
Option 1: Eight years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
Option 2: Five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work and a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills
Option 3: Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

3. Project Management Excellence
Extensive experience managing high-profile, mission-critical IT and business projects impacting financial performance and stakeholder perception; adept at applying best practices to establish consistent PM methodologies and tools.
4. Organizational Change & Process Improvement
Expertise in driving business process improvements, developing new policies and procedures, and applying change management principles during major organizational transformations.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
