Department of Revenue is recruiting for a QA Operations Analyst (Operations & Policy Analyst 1) position. We are looking for talented, detail-oriented individuals to join our Processing Center Operations Division in the Processing Center Unit. This position is headquartered in our Salem office; however, the successful candidate may be eligible for in state hybrid work. Hybrid work consists of performing duties onsite in a standard office environment and working remotely.
In order to be considered for Department of Revenue recruitments, you must reside within the state of Oregon. Current Revenue employees who live outside of Oregon may apply and will be considered.
What You Will Be Doing

Plan, analyze, and research studies. Prepare written summaries and conclusions of research.
Compile and analyze data and present conclusions. This includes proposing course of action.
Analyze performance or production data to monitor the quality and quantity of work; initiate action to improve deficiencies.
Analyze and interpret the effectiveness of meeting customer needs.
Analyze operational reporting requirements by comparing information system to regulations.
Facilitate groups that identify processing or system errors.
Solicit information from staff across all work units to help coordinate and prioritize system improvements.

This Is What You Need to Qualify
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills;
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

Additional Information
This is an SEIU-represented position. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.
