As the Workforce Development Coordinator, you'll navigate the complexities of our diverse workforce landscape, assisting with shaping policies, strategies, and projects to drive meaningful change alongside the Statewide Workforce Development Consultant. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring alignment with rules and policies, fostering best practices, and communicate forward-thinking workforce policies that resonate across all agencies. You'll partner to craft and deliver comprehensive statewide training programs, monitor and audit existing offerings, engaging with partners for feedback and updating content, leveraging cooperation with internal and external training entities to maximize resources and provide unparalleled access to top-tier training opportunities for our valued state employees.
Your impact will extend beyond traditional boundaries as you provide invaluable facilitation services and project management support to state executives, managers, and agencies. This team specializes in eLearning methodologies, tools, policies, and practices, you'll be at the forefront of digital innovation, driving transformative change in how we approach workforce development in the digital age.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work in training and/or leadership curriculum development. OR;
Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience in training and/or leadership curriculum development that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
Desired Attributes:
Knowledge of instructional methods, curriculum design, development and delivery of adult learning and learning theories for both group and individual training, in-person or virtual.
Experience collecting and analyzing training related data, and training evaluation and satisfaction information, and using this information to make training related decisions.
Skill in developing and delivering training across various formats, including in-person, online, or eLearning.
Skill with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS) and software for in-person and online training, training resources, equipment, and software for in-person and online training.
Proven capacity for strategic thinking, demonstrated through the ability to assess complex and emerging training needs, and develop and deliver offerings to meet diverse needs.
Skill in creating and maintaining campaigns and statewide initiatives for comprehensive training plans aligned with organizational goals.
Understanding of project management and effective time management skills.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships across state agencies, education partners, and with the public.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with partners, team members, and learners, coupled with exceptional communication skills to effectively seek feedback, convey ideas, actively listen, and foster an environment of collaboration and understanding.
