We are hiring a ONE Sr Medical Eligibility & CR Business Analyst (Operations & Policy Analyst 3) to join our One Eligibility Program (OEP)-Business Information Services (BIS) ONE BA Team. Summary of Duties

As a ONE Sr Medical Eligibility & CR Business Analyst, you will:

  • Maintain OHA and ODHS medical programs that are supported by the integrated ONE system, the impact of budget packages, legislation, statutes and other policy initiatives on existing programs, policies and procedures.

  • Evaluate the impact of budget packages, legislation, statutes and other policy initiatives on existing programs and procedures.

  • Manage the ONE system Change Request process for the ONE Business Analyst team, including determining assignments, priorities, resourcing needs, and support needs for ongoing success.

  • Collect and analyze data, and identify problems related to business needs and computer operations to determine appropriate mitigation strategies and improvements.

  • Identify potential risks and difficulties, and design strategies to mitigate or avoid them.

Minimum Qualifications

A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position or you must have an appropriate form of transportation.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.

Essential Attributes

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with Oregon medical programs (Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI), Oregon Supplemental Income Program (OSIP), Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), Long Term Care (LTC), Waivered services) or other related medical programs.

  • Experience with other Oregon ODHS program areas (Self Sufficiency, Oregon Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services, and Child Welfare) and partner programs like Employment Related Day Care services or other programs related to Human Services.

  • Experience creating detailed, accurate, and retraceable documentation while managing and communicating changes effectively to ensure and maintain system integrity and compliance.

  • Experience identifying problems and solutions through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach.

  • Demonstratable experience and skill managing and/or coordinating multiple tasks and projects through changing or conflicting priorities.

  • Demonstratable experience and knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or other comparable accepted industry standards of Business Analysis.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid work condition optional. You may be required to report to Salem for business and operational needs or onsite activities.

  • This role involves a high-pressure environment.

  • Some additional straight time is required during peak periods as this position is exempt for overtime.

  • Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm and will be able to flex time.

  • You will work in a high-pressure environment resulting from high volume workload and difficult timelines.

  • Priority and scope of projects must be intensely monitored and frequent adjustments are required.

  • Requires rare travel with overnight stays.
