We're looking for a Housing Finance Specialist 1,2 or 3 to join our team. If you are knowledgeable of MS Office and are proficient in writing, analyzing financial reports, and interpreting policies, this may be a great opportunity for you.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of experience in housing finance or compliance programs, housing management, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:
- Implement and coordinate eligible activities necessitated by CDBG federal requirements, which are specific to the State's Disaster Recovery Action Plan and its Amendments for all flood-related rental programs.
- Perform program management duties for ongoing housing programs, such as monitoring of the program operations to satisfy any state and federal regulations in relation to CDGB-DR.
- Monitor end dates for expenditures deadlines for activities for each of the standing hurricanes, and communicate on a weekly/bi-weekly, monthly basis.
- Report data on a monthly and quarterly basis and OCD that reflects the milestones set forth in the programs and the Action Plan.
- Execute monitoring systems to focus on compliance review in accordance with the specific program requirement.
- Initiate budget amendments, budget transfers, application amendments, and close out.
- Maintain current files both electronically and physically in order to efficiently implement and close out programs that have been expended.
