Job Duties:

This is semi-skilled work involving manual deck and firefighting duties aboard a fireboat.

50%Performdailytasksofmakingfasthawsersandmooringlinestotowsor piers, washing decks, cleaning equipment, chipping and painting, loading and unloading materials and standing radio/telephone watch.

50% Man of firehose and fire monitors in fighting fires aboard vessels and on shore structures, including entry aboard burning vessels and shore structures. When the vessel is in harbor­ inspection service, work involves greeting and assisting passengers aboard the fireboat, looking after passengers' comfort, and answering questions about marine activities in the harbor area
