About this Job

Grambling State University is currently seeking a fulltime qualified Mobile Equipment Operator 1 to work in the Facilities Management Dept.

Minimum Qualifications

No experience or training is required.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Operates riding mower House power 35 1/2 Bush Hog front end loader
  • Trim Hedges, edge sidewalks, blow off sidewalks and weed eats
  • Spray herbicides, fertilize grounds and flower beds, straw beds and remove flowers
  • Operates chain saw, prune trees, remove brush and fallen limbs, remove dead animals, fills potholes and cleans drains
  • Operates light and heavy, Horse power 65-85, tractors, may make minor repairs to equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
