We’re looking for a Mobile Equipment Operator 1 to join our University of Louisiana at Lafayette team. Mobile Equipment Operators support critical daily operations by safely operating and maintaining various types of equipment used across campus grounds and infrastructure.

No experience or training is required.

Job Duties:
As a Mobile Equipment Operator 1, you will:

• Operate a variety of mobile equipment as a primary, regular, and recurring function

• Operate light tractors, flatbed trucks, dump trucks, mowers, and other powered vehicles or equipment.

• Conduct pre- and post-use inspections to ensure operational safety and performance.

• Perform basic maintenance, fueling, and cleaning of equipment.

• Assist with site maintenance, including groundskeeping, hauling, or material transport

• Follow safety and operational protocols consistently

• Support other facility needs and teams as directed

Compensation: $16.06 per hour
