Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience or training in accounting, auditing, bookkeeping, or financial operations or computations.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and complete daily bank deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
  • Prepares monthly adjusting journal entries
  • Process weekly vendor payments and ensure the timely and accurate disbursement of agency funds in accordance with state guidelines
  • Conduct weekly reviews of all accounts payable to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness prior to processing
  • Maintain a structured filing system for all invoices and supporting documents
  • Digitize and upload all payables and related documentation into the accounting system to support transparency, audit readiness, and efficient electronic recordkeeping.
