Job Description and Duties
- Good working knowledge of the effective principles of supervision
- Good understanding of organizational techniques and time management skills, including techniques for prioritizing multiple projects to ensure completion by established deadlines
- Excellent problem resolution skills
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to interact effectively with the public and all levels of departmental personnel and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Ability to take initiative, be flexible, work independently, and have the willingness to learn new duties
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy
- Maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance in the performance of these specific functions

Working Conditions
The Business Programs Division supports the importance of work-life balance through measures such as Telework and Alternate Work Week Schedules (e.g., 4/10/40 schedule consisting of four 10-hour days and one scheduled day off per week and 9/8/80 schedule consisting of eight 9-hours days and one 8-hour day in a two-week period with one scheduled day off every other week), both based on SOS policies and business needs. Please Note: Due to the tasks performed, some positions within this recruitment do not offer telework opportunities and will be 100% in-office
