Job Description and Duties
The Office Technician (OT), Cadet Coordinator, is responsible for a variety of complex and essential clerical duties; acts as lead person coordinating clerical support for the Academy Cadet Program. Responsibilities include: grading, reviewing, and tracking of examination results; instructing cadets concerning preparation of attendance, and health and benefit forms; tracking cadet resignations; reviewing and completing resignation packages for accuracy; and calculating statistics to prepare monthly attrition report. In addition, the OT coordinates and schedules meetings with the commander, lieutenants, and Recruit Training Office to organize and prepare for cadet graduation ceremonies. The OT must exercise a high degree of initiative, independence, and carry out assigned duties with minimal supervision.
