Job Description and Duties
We are looking for a highly motivated and independent person to join our State Parks team. The Office Technician (Typing) will be responsible for the efficient operation of the Sector office's business and administrative services, to include general clerical processes, office reception, purchasing, budget tracking, accounting, fee collection, and special event support. The position may also assist the District Administrative Services team and will be required to attend various trainings throughout the year. Local and overnight travel may be required.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Working Conditions
Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures (over 100 degrees in the summer), possible elevated heights, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Daily and frequent use of a computer and a variety of software programs and applications, prolonged sitting, and interaction with visitors, community organizations, students, and other entities. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds.

The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below. Your SOQ is to be typed (8-1/2” X 11” size paper); Arial 12 pt. font. Failure to include and complete the SOQ may result in disqualification for interview.
The SOQ response must not be more than two (2) pages and address the following:
