This position is physically located at the California Natural Resources Building in Downtown Sacramento.

Duties: Under the general direction of the Plant Asset Planning Lead, the incumbent acts as a Plant Asset Planning Specialist (Electrical), coordinating projects and tasks related to the managing the portfolio of State Water Project (SWP) hydroelectric generating, pump-generating, and pumping plants to support implementation of the Division of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Asset Management Program and project management for related O&M projects.

Desirable Qualifications
It is desirable that the incumbent have knowledge and/or experience in inspection or condition assessment, SWP facilities, water storage, conveyance, power generation infrastructure, asset management systems and/or planning, development of asset management and/or lifecycle management plans, collaboration and leadership w/staff beyond chain of command and project management experience.
