Job Description and Duties
- Have good working knowledge of the effective principles of supervision
- Candidate should have a good understanding of organizational techniques and time management skills, including techniques for prioritizing multiple projects to ensure completion by established deadlines
- Excellent problem resolution skills
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Candidate should be able to interact effectively with the public and all levels of departmental personnel and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Demonstrate ability to take initiative, be flexible, work independently, and have the willingness to learn new duties
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and diplomacy
- Maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance in the performance of these specific functions
- A desirable qualification for this role is a strong understanding of organizational techniques and the ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure completion by tight deadlines. Provide an example of a time when your unit experienced a sudden influx of high-priority work or an unexpected operational shift. How did you reallocate resources and organize your team to ensure all deadlines were successfully met?
