Job Description and Duties

This position covers Region I offices located within the following counties: Butte, Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Nevada, Plumas, Siskiyou, Sonoma, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity.

The Region I Office is looking for a motivated team player that has the ability to positively be a member of a collaborative team environment with management, coworkers, and internal and external customers. The incumbent must possess a willing and able, can-do attitude. The Senior Motor Vehicle Technician independently processes driver license and registration applications with the highest level of expertise; reviews and authorizes acceptance of legal documents; resolves issues; tactfully mediates complaints from customers; assists with training staff; performs other duties as assigned; acts and works independently; and adjusts with ease to operational needs.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.
