Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the Riverside DMV Contact Center.

Are you driven and passionate in providing superior customer service in handling calls and electronic communication? If so, this position is for you. It requires you to assist in training/mentoring agents in handling customer inquiries. The incumbent will independently resolve the most complex transactions and assist technicians with difficult problems relating to the licensing of drivers and registration of vehicles; handle callbacks, social media, live chats, and emails for internal and/or external customers; contact field offices, auto clubs, Franchise Tax Board, Mandatory Actions Unit, business partners, Vehicle Insurance Program and other headquarters units for resolution; resolve issues and tactfully mediate complaints from customers; assist the first-level supervisors in the day-to-day planning, organizing and directing of work-related contact center activities; and perform other duties as assigned.
