Job Description and Duties
UI Center Carnegie is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Office Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and takes pride in providing exceptional administrative support. The selected candidate will perform a variety of administrative and operational duties, including assisting with attendance and benefits administration, preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the office.
The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Success in this role requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment where priorities may change.
Strong computer skills are essential. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and comfortable creating, maintaining, and organizing a variety of documents, reports, and spreadsheets. The position also requires handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion, maintaining accurate filing systems, and providing professional customer service to both internal and external customers. The Office Technician may also serve as the office attendance clerk and assist with other administrative functions as needed.
***This is a full-time, in-office position located in San Bernardino.***
Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
