Job Description and Duties

The Department of Fish and Wildlife's Bay Delta Region (BDR) is seeking a motivated and highly responsible individual to work as an Office Technician (Typing) (OT) in BDR's Headquarters office located in Fairfield, California. Under the general direction of the Regional Administrative Officer in the region's Administration Program and working closely with the team members of the Habitat Conservation Programs, the OT will independently be responsible for reviewing and processing all incoming Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement permit applications to ensure accuracy and eligibility requirements have been met. They will ensure appropriate fees and all required documents are submitted with applications and perform database logging, tracking, and input related to streambed alteration documents. Other administrative duties include answering main office phone line, mail preparation, delivery and pickup, and copying, filing, and scanning older files for recordkeeping.
