The Department of Water Resources’ Modeling Support Office’s (MSO) Central Valley Modeling Section is seeking qualified candidates who can solve complex challenges associated with Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta (the Delta) and beyond.

Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, Water Resources in the Central Valley Modeling Section of the Modeling Support Office, the incumbent is responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining and applying the California Central Valley Groundwater-Surface Water Simulation Model (C2VSim), the integrated hydrologic model of California’s Central Valley, and its interaction with the reservoir systems analysis model, CalSim.

This is a Limited Term position that may be extended up to an additional 12 months (24 months maximum).
