Job Description and Duties

OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING) (PERMANENT FULLTIME) – BAY AREA DISTRICT / DISTRICT OFFICE

The reporting location for this position is the Bay Area District Office, 845 Casa Grande Road, Petaluma, CA 94954. This position will work under the general direction of the Administrative Officer II.

The primary responsibilities of this position include processing invoice and P-Card payments in Fi$Cal, providing clerical support, and assisting with District reports, memos, customer service, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service (in-person, email & telephone) to visitors of the District Office.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This is a office-centered position that requires o
ccasional travel between park units and off-site locations. Occasional travel between park units and off-site locations is required to meet program delivery and operational needs.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.


This position is designated as telework eligible - office centered.
