- The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
- The position(s) require(s) a(n) Professional Engineer License. You will be required to provide a copy of your license prior to being hired.

- Experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the work of a team.
- Ability to conduct technical investigation of complex issues involving electric generation facilities and energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of Commission's General Orders and Public Utilities Code related to electric generating facilities and energy storage systems.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the work of others.
- Documenting findings and memorializing those findings in a written report.
- Knowledge of Public Utilities Code as they pertain to the requirements of the division as noted in Public Utilities Code and General Order 167-C.
- Knowledge of safety and reliability of electric generating facilities and energy storage systems.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to make recommendations and keep management apprised of the status of work assignments.
- Experience advising various levels of management.
- Experience creating and implementing project plans.
- Experience in conducting meetings, conferences, and other events; ability to establish and maintain project priorities; reason logically and creatively; develop and evaluate alternatives; do research work, analyze data; write and review reports, orders, plans, procedures, and citations; analyze situations accurately and take effective action.
- Experience in communicating and working cooperatively and effectively with Commission staff, employees of other entities, and members of the public; effectively contribute to the Commission’s Equal Employment Opportunity objectives.
- Experience in excellent writing professional correspondence.
