Job Description and Duties

The California Secretary of State’s Business Programs Division is recruiting to fill one permanent, full-time Program Technician II position in the Los Angeles office. The office provides services to a large constituency of Spanish speaking customers; the most desirable candidate will possess bilingual fluency in Spanish.

The Business Programs Division is the largest Division of the Secretary of State’s Office (SOS) and is committed to making it easier to do business in California. Supporting California Businesses by providing professional, accurate, consistent, and timely service through innovative online functionality and excellent customer service is a significant factor in ensuring the Division is making it easier to do business in California. In addition to the Secretary of State's main filing office in Sacramento, the Los Angeles office distributes, processes and receives apostilles and domestic partnership filings.

Working Conditions

Due to business needs, no teleworking option is offered for this position. This position will be expected to be 100% onsite to perform normal duties.
