Job Description and Duties

The Department of State Hospitals-Napa currently has a vacancy for an Office Technician (OT) in the Standards & Compliance department. The OT will perform a wide variety of general and difficult office work, exercise a high degree of initiative, independence and originality in performing assigned tasks. The OT provides secretarial support services including typing, taking and preparing minutes of meetings, arranging meetings, opening and distributing mail, answering phones. They will also input data, generate graphic reports and track routine reports. The OT should have the ability to perform difficult clerical work, including ability to spell correctly; use good English; operate various office machines, follow oral and written directions; evaluate situations accurately and take effective action.

Typing Certificate

A typing certificate is required with your application.
