Job Description and Duties
Create a wide variety of documents and correspondence that may include technical and confidential subjects. Review, edit and/or retype written staff work. Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Prepare and process timekeeping documents and maintain related records. Prepare travel and training requests; make travel reservations; register staff for trainings; and prepare requests for payments. Assist staff with personnel transaction requests. Update training records. Update the Project Tracking Log. Coordinate the CCIU Lieutenant and Sergeant's calendars. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and reserve meeting rooms. Handle incoming office telephone calls. Maintain the CCIU's electronic and paper files.

Special Requirements
- The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. - The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) serves as documentation of each applicant's ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. Each question must be numbered and addressed in the same order as the questions below. The SOQ must be typed, no more than two pages in length, and 12-point Arial font.
