Job Description and Duties

MANAGEMENT SERVICES TECHNICIAN (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) / SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT/ DISTRICT OFFICE / PERSONNEL
The reporting location for this position is the San Diego Coast District office located at 4477 Pacific Highway San Diego. This position will work under the general direction of District Administrative Chief.
The Management Service Technician should possess the following interpersonal skills: good internal and external customer service, efficient time management, solid communication skills, ability to stay organized in a world of critical and confidential paperwork, meet strict deadlines, resourcefulness, willingness to be a team member, punctual, and dependable. The incumbent is a critical part of the District's personnel team with duties including the hiring of seasonal and permanent employees, performing payroll duties, and assisting with any Worker's Compensation or FMLA paperwork.

Training and development assignments may be considered.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
