STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER SUPERVISOR (RANGER) – NORTH COAST REDWOODS DISTRICT / REDWOOD COAST SECTOR / JEDEDIAH SMITH REDWOODS STATE PARK

The reporting location for this position is Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park in Crescent City, CA. This position will work under the general supervision of the State Park Superintendent III.
The Supervising Ranger is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Visitor Services operation, Public Safety and Law Enforcement, Patrol, Interpretation, and Resource Protection functions for the following State Park units: Pelican State Beach, Tolowa Dunes State Park, Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park, Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.
State housing may be required. Housing is located on the Jedediah Smith River. Special Requirement/Condition of Employment: Housing assignments will be determined in accordance with Department policy, operational priorities, and applicable labor agreements.
