STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER SUPERVISOR I (LIFEGUARD) – SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT/NORTH SECTOR The reporting location for this position will be the South Carlsbad State Beach Shop. This position will work under the supervision of the State Park Peace Officer Lifeguard II.
This position is responsible for all aspects of law enforcement leadership, aquatics operations, Junior Lifeguards program support, seasonal employee management and community involvement. Units of responsibility include: Torrey Pines State Beach and Natural Reserve, Cardiff State Beach, San Elijo State Beach, South Carlsbad State Beach and Carlsbad State Beach. The incumbent is a critical part of the North Sector supervisory team and the district-wide aquatics program. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow and strengthen personal skills for advancement. It is a challenging position for a motivated individual while working with a dedicated and professional staff. San Diego Coast District operates a 4/10 year round schedule. Officers have plenty of opportunity for paid overtime through grant funded patrols and special events.
This position requires a Class C California Driver’s license. Please provide proof of eligibility with application.
