STATE PARK PEACE OFFICER SUPERVISOR (RANGER) – ANGELES DISTRICT / LOS ANGELES SECTOR / LOS ANGELES STATE HISTORIC PARK


The reporting location for this position is Los Angeles State Historic Park Located in Los Angeles, California. This position will work under the supervision and direction of the Angeles District State Park Superintendent II. This position is responsible for the operations and the supervision of the State Park Peace Officer's assigned to the Los Angeles Sector which includes Los Angeles State Historic Park, Pio Pico State Historic Park, Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, Rio De Los Angeles, and Watts Tower.. The State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger) patrols for the protection of visitors, employees, and park resources and additionally provides interpretation, and public assistance. This is a supervisory position that will provide leadership and guidance for both permanent, seasonal, and volunteer personnel. This position offers many opportunities for a self-motivated person to make a lasting impact.

This position requires a valid Class C driver’s license.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.
