PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER II – GOLD FIELDS DISTRICT / PRAIRIE CITY STATE VEHICULAR RECREATION AREA/ SACRAMENTO COUNTY
This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The reporting location for this position is Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA) located in Rancho Cordova, Ca. This position works under the general direction of the Prairie City Park Maintenance Supervisor.
Gold Fields District is seeking a motivated, team oriented individual to lead the maintenance and seasonal staff. The incumbent will be responsible for route and preventative maintenance on all facilities within the sector. The incumbent will assist with the coordination of daily maintenance functions, budget management, purchasing, maintenance contracting, and the facility maintenance program MAXIMO entries. The incumbent will participate in the trails management program and work closely with resource staff.
The incumbent’s work schedule will be Monday through Thursday 6 AM to 4:30 PM. This position may work holidays and weekends.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.
