Job Description and Duties
State Park Equipment Operator (PERMANENT FULL-TIME) - DIABLO RANGE DISTRICT / HOLLISTER HILLS sector / HOLLISTER HILLS STATE VEHICULAR RECREATION AREA
This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.
The incumbent's work schedule will be Thursday through Sunday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The reporting location for this position is the Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area (SVRA), 7800 Cienega Road, Hollister, CA. This position will work under the direction of the Senior Environmental Scientist (Supervisor).
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class A driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver’s license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.
This position will be subject to the Federal Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
This position is designated as not telework eligible.
