PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) – GOLD FIELDS / FOLSOM SECTOR / FOLSOM LAKE STATE RECREATION AREA / PENINSULA CAMPGROUND
The Park Maintenance Worker I (PMWI), Permanent Intermittent (PI) works under the direct supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief I. The reporting location is the Peninsula Campground located in the Folsom Lake Sector of the Gold Fields District.
This position is principally responsible for the maintenance functions related to park infrastructure and systems, structures and grounds as well as general housekeeping duties at the various sub-units located within work location – 2, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area (SRA) and Folsom Powerhouse. This position has oversight of all systems throughout the Sector and will be responsible for the pumping of various state-owned chemical toilets. As needed, this position will assist the District with same or similar services. This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year.
The schedule for this position is Sunday - Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver’s license on your application. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
