***This is a Peace Officer Position. To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications established by the Department of Human Resources AND either be currently eligible or eligible for reinstatement as a PC 830.2, California State Peace Officer.

If you are not a current peace officer and in possession of a POST – Academy, Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Certificate, you are not eligible for this position.

STATE PARK SUPERINTENDENT III - ORANGE COAST DISTRICT/ NORTH SECTOR/ BOLSA CHICA

The reporting location for this position is the Orange Coast District's North Sector office at Bolsa Chica State Beach. The State Park Superintendent III will work under the direction of the District Superintendent for the Orange Coast District. The State Park Superintendent III will manage all aspects of the Orange Coast District's North Sector. Duties include the Sector Public Safety and Law Enforcement Program, Aquatic Safety, Visitor Services, Facility Development and Maintenance, and Sector Partnerships. This is a an exciting and challenging assignment which will provide many opportunities to expand your experience and provide great leadership in a large fast paced Sector environment. This position requires a valid California Class C Driver License.
The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.
